Marinella is an accomplished investment professional with over 25 years of experience working with leading financial institutions in London and New York.

 

Throughout her career, she specialized in investment advisory and portfolio management across capital markets (cash, derivatives and FX) as well as alternatives (hedge funds and private equity) for families of considerable wealth.

 

For 16 years she served as a Senior Investment Counsellor at Citi Private Bank, where she played a pivotal role in driving substantial growth in the key markets of Turkey and Israel, with assets under management exceeding $4 billion.

 

She was a leader on the Citi Women’s Network Steering Committee, engaging government and firms across the financial sector. Marinella contributed significantly to passing the UK Gender Pay Gap legislation.

 

Prior to her tenure at Citi, Marinella was an Investment Manager at EFG Asset Management, providing discretionary and advisory services while successfully establishing a new institutional business.

 

Earlier in her career, she held roles at prestigious institutions including Société Générale and JP Morgan Chase, gaining deep expertise in structured products, derivatives, and risk management.

 

Marinella holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics and a Minor in Art History from the American University of Paris.
